jupyter-client software package provides Jupyter protocol client APIs (tools), you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jupyter-client
jupyter-client is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jupyter-client package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jupyter-client *
You will get with jupyter-client package name, version, architecture and description in a table
